This Westminster home needed an outdoor oasis. The existing deck was made of slippery ceramic tiles that, when wet, would get extremely hot in the summer and freeze in the winter.
The family wanted to upgrade their outdoor living space with a modern, luxurious look while ensuring safety. So we completely redesigned the deck and added features to make it more beautiful and functional.
TimberTech Legacy Tigerwood decking replaced the ceramic tiles, giving it a modern look and feel. We added a picture frame border around the deck for aesthetic purposes, as well as hidden fasteners and color-match screws for an elegant finish. In addition, a Trex RainEscape deck drainage system was installed to keep the patio dry during rain and windy conditions.
We added a 10’ tall spiral staircase to complete the deck with sandblasted, primed, powder-coated railings and composite decking on the stair treads. From the deck, the family can now take in the stunning views of the Rocky Mountains and be grateful for this outdoor oasis’s safety and beauty.
Down below, the patio was expanded with more room for entertaining and lounging. The landscape was also renovated with lush plants, trees, shrubs, and hardscape features for a truly stunning outdoor oasis.
