O’Keefe Built Donates Labor for New Accessibility Ramp at Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center (CTRC) – August 2024
“We are honored to contribute to the incredible work that the Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center does for our community,” said Pat O’Keefe, Founder and CEO of O’Keefe Built. “At O’Keefe Built, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. This ramp will not only improve accessibility but also enhance the overall experience for everyone at CTRC.”
Budget Home Supply, a trusted local supplier of building materials, and TimberTech, a renowned manufacturer of premium decking and outdoor living products, generously donated the materials necessary to complete the project. Their support ensured the ramp was constructed with durable, high-quality products designed to withstand the elements and provide long-lasting accessibility.
The Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center, located in Longmont, CO, has been a pillar of the community for over 40 years, offering therapeutic riding and equine-assisted activities to individuals of all ages and abilities. The new ramp will further their mission by making their facilities more accessible to everyone.
The project underscores the importance of community partnerships in supporting local nonprofits and enhancing the quality of life for residents. O’Keefe Built, Budget Home Supply, and TimberTech are proud to contribute to a project that will have a lasting impact on the Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center and the community it serves.

NORTHGLENN COMMUNITY GARDEN VOLUNTEER PROJECT – APRIL 2023
Our latest venture, the Northglenn Community Garden, is a testament to the power of community. With materials donated by Cedar Supply and the unwavering support of Russ Skillings, we’ve helped revitalize a space where nearly 100 residents can cultivate their own gardens by building 18 raised garden beds. This project is especially dear to us as it offers green spaces to those with limited access to land.
SAFE SHELTER OF ST. VRAIN COAT DRIVE – NOVEMBER 2022
In November 2022, O’Keefe Built was honored to partner with Safe Shelter of St. Vrain Valley in a heartwarming initiative – the Safe Shelter of St. Vrain Coat Drive. This event was an opportunity for us to bring warmth and comfort to those in need during the cold winter months.
We focused on collecting coats, scarves, gloves, and winter hats for men, women, and children. To make it convenient for our community to contribute, we set up a drop-off point at our office in Longmont, CO, and also offered a special pick-up service for those in the greater Longmont, Boulder, Superior, or Erie areas. This approach ensured that everyone who wanted to contribute could do so easily.
We are deeply grateful for the generosity shown by everyone who participated. Your contributions have made a significant difference in the lives of many, offering not just physical warmth but also the warmth of knowing there’s a community that cares.
BUILDSTRONG ACADEMY OF COLORADO – AUGUST 2022

We were fortunate to have the support of Trex, Boise Cascade, and Budget Home Supply, who supplied and delivered the essential materials for this workshop.
The enthusiasm and positive feedback from our ten participants were truly inspiring. We were excited to learn that all 10 students surveyed said they learned new skills and discovered new areas of interest through this event.O’Keefe Built is proud to inspire our community and we love helping others appreciate the passion and craftsmanship that go into building a quality deck.

ASPEN CENTER FOR CHILD DEVELOPMENT – DONATED RAMP PROJECT – OCTOBER 2020
In October 2020, O’Keefe Built embarked on a meaningful project at the Aspen Center for Child Development in Longmont. Recognizing the need for a safer and more inclusive environment for the children, we offered to donate and construct a new ramp for the school. This initiative was made possible through a collaborative effort with Budget Home Supply and TimberTech.
Our Project Manager, Chad Gudmonson, led our skilled team in creating a ramp that was not only functional and safe but also an interactive learning space for the children. Elizabeth Fannon shared, “This ramp is more than just an access point; it’s a playground for our kids, a relief for our teachers, and a blessing for our community.”
We’re humbled to have made such a meaningful contribution. The joy and excitement of the children as they watched and then used the ramp was a profound reminder of the impact we can have.
