Once your project is complete, our Client Satisfaction Manager will meet with you to ensure that you are happy with your new space. We’ll gather your feedback and pass it along to our team. Our process is designed to ensure you have the ultimate outdoor oasis in your backyard and that our services exceed your expectations.

Talk to one of our project representatives about your preferences, your budget, and your general expectations for the space.

We’ll arrive on-site to discuss your ideal outdoor space in more detail, assess and photograph your background, and take measurements and notes to start building out a thorough design plan. Afterwards, our team will email you an interactive proposal detailing the scope of work and cost.

We’ll send you a detailed project agreement with a scope of work, itemized list of costs for material and labor, the work schedule, the payment schedule, and other details of the project.

This phase starts with pre-production, which includes:
- 2D/3D design rendering and construction drawings
- Permit preparation and filing (when applicable)
- Ordering and procuring materials prior to installation
- Engineering (when applicable)

Our designer will review the contract and create some combination of 2D or 3D renderings and/or construction drawings for your review. After obtaining your approval, we’ll either send it to engineering or submit your permit when applicable. The start date will be based on when the permit is approved, the weather, and the timing of the project ahead of yours in the queue.

The Pre-Construction Site Visit is our final on-site review before construction begins. During this visit, our team confirms project details, reviews site conditions, discusses access and logistics, and ensures everyone is aligned before work starts. This helps us catch questions early, set clear expectations, and prepare for a smoother project kickoff.

Our team will break ground on construction and provide you with weekly recaps as part of our “O’Keefe Built Once-a-Week
Promise”. You’ll also have continuous access to project progress and updates through our project management software, JobTread..
